SERVICES

Our emphasis is on Preventative and Wellness health-care and begins with the first puppy and kitten visits and continues through the Senior Pet visits.

For those times when your pet is ill, complete medical services are available, keeping in mind the individual needs of each patient.

Our specialized surgical facilities and monitoring allow us to perform a wide variety of procedures while minimizing risks to our patients.

Another great resource for more information about dog and cat health, behavior and current topics is www.veterinarypartner.com Dr. Osborne highly recommends this site and uses it herself.

Surgery:
A completely equipped, state-of-the-art surgery suite is available. We have isoflurane gas anesthesia and monitor patients closely during all procedures. After surgery and recovery, in most cases your pet will be released the same day. A doctor or nurse will call with the status of your pet and make arrangements for pick-up.

Dental Care:
A good dental program is essential to your pet's overall health. We provide routine scaling and polishing, root canals, extractions and basic periodontal care to promote longer lasting teeth.

Pharmacy:
Our complete in-hospital pharmacy offers most of the medication, flea, tick and heartworm control your pet may need. Medication refills may be phoned or faxed in advance so we may have them ready for you when you come in.

Lab:Y
Routine blood tests, endocrine function testing, cultures and other specialized testing are available. Tests which cannot be performed in-house are sent to an outside laboratory.

X-rays:
X-rays, ultrasound and contrast studies are performed on premises. For special services, such as MRI's and endoscopy, we will refer your pet to a veterinary specialist in that field.

ECG and Hospitalization: The Pet Vet on Patton is equipped to perform ECGs in-house.

We will admit your pet if hospitalization is necessary. Our veterinary assistants and technicians are trained to give your pet top quality love and care. We strive to make them as comfortable as possible and like you to visit while your pet is with us.

Eyecare:
Ocular pressure measurement for glaucoma detection, called tonometry, and retinal examinations are available in-house.

Blood Pressure:
Blood pressure monitoring is essential to our high quality emergency care. Feline geriatric patients also suffer from high blood pressure and are monitored regularly in our hospital.

Physical Therapy:
We offer a range of care options for canine and feline physical therapy needs.  Our veterinarian works in conjunction with a certified canine rehabilitation specialist and a massage therapist to make a plan for your pets recovery and wellness maintenance.
